A lot been said and written about an emotion we call, "Dreams". Not many have been encouraged to pursue or even have a dream as a child. "Don't dream, dreams never come true", "Just keep dreaming, those are lucky ones who achieve success and you are not one of them" to name a few are among the frequent words we hear from peers and family alike.
I have had no different experience than most of you when it comes to the negative vibes and discouragement one falls prey to while following one's dream.
I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur, inspired by the greats like Dhirubhai Ambani, Bill Gates, John D. Rockefeller, Bill Gardner to name a few. Coming from a middle-class family in the city of Mumbai, India was never easy. Exposed to a cut-throat competition right from school, like most of the kids of my age, the importance of been a brilliant student was imbibed in me right from childhood. Only if you do excellent and better than the rest, will you be able to make it big in life with a job in an MNC or a "Big" company.
One cannot deny the fact that education is The most important factor after family's upbringing in shaping a child's future and deciding in what he/she will be.
I dared and continue to dare to be different from the usual notion about been perfect and Pixel Genies is a dream come true and goes to show that if we pursue our dreams, the how's and who's don't matter and things fall in place unquestionably.
I have been blessed with the most amazing parents, a beautiful, talented and understanding business partner, friends and family, however, not everyone is favored by fortune like me. Nevertheless, I have not had a challenge-free pursuit and continue facing challenges, failing, been cheated by clients and a lot more but what keeps me going is the goal that I have set for myself.
